Nice things that I think are worth it

• Triple Seven (777) brand Korean nail clippers - I prefer the set because it comes in a nice case + has some useful tools (ear pick, tweezers, nail file).
• KEF Q150 + Wiim amp - Bought these so I can listen to music with good audio quality. Way better than streaming music on my TV or Google Home speakers.
• Building a NAS - I built one that runs TrueNAS Scale, but off-the-shelf ones are probably fine too. I love not having to think about running out of storage or backing things up.
• Topre keyboards - Not as customizable as Cherry MX-style switch keyboards, but those slider + rubber dome switches are so nice. I use a Realforce 87U at work and a NIZ N87 at home.
• Bedrock Sandals - It’s crazy that I pay more for less material on my feet, but I love being barefoot and this is about as close as I can get with some protection.
• Graeter’s ice cream - Definitely more expensive than your standard Ben & Jerry’s or store brand pint, but also definitely tastier and higher quality.
• Darn Tough socks - I hate socks, but these are comfy and have a nice warranty.
• Midea U-shaped air conditioner- So quiet and so effective for my NYC apartment. Technically you can also open your window, but my handyman screwed my window shut after installing it.
